The climate is relatively cool and pleasant in Kandy Sri Lanka, weather being quite comfortable as there are no winters. Without really changing much between 17 to 25 degrees Celsius with it getting colder on wet nights.
December to April is the best time to visit Kandy. Falling during the dry season or the season between monsoons, there is a chill in the air but because of the clear skies, it’s the best time to go hiking up the Knuckles Mountain Range and spend some of the hotter afternoons lounging in a pool.
